My Heroine, painted by Dulac!

I lurve my new story. *sigh* These are all illustrations of my heroine, done by Edmund Dulac in the early 20th c. Isn't she beautiful? Although my hero is Arabian, the princess in my story is from China, and lo and behold, someone has drawn her up for me.

I can't think of anything else except this book! It's such a wonderful feeling!

Looks amazing!
I think it’s really important how a book is illustrated and how characters are drawn. Of course there must be word-description but colorful appropriate pics help readers to plunge deeply in the plot. And there is no doubt that Gold in the cover must be real.
Hope your sister is happy with her life. We’re almost neighbors now.

I guess I should add that these illustrations aren't actually for MY book, but something I found while doing some research. They are pretty, though, and will help when I get to the scenes describing the princess I have in mind for my novel.
